About Me

I am a partly self-taught Fort Mill, SC photographer...with a degree in landscape design...wife to Andy...and mama to Charley Jane. 

To further explain...

I originally went to school for photography...majored in that for a year.  Got to play around with 'old school' film cameras...developed my own film, and really saw what it takes to get one print...a huge reason why I didn't own a digital camera until a few years ago.  However...majoring in photography felt like I was in a creative box, so after a year I made the switch to landscape design...and LOVED it.  A couple years ago I finally got my first DSLR camera...taught myself how to use it, and haven't stopped taking pictures since.  I am so blessed to be able to capture slices of life for a living.

I love photographing a couple's journey through life...engagement, wedding, maternity, birth, newborn, family...LOVE.IT.  I love telling a story through the photographs I take...letting emotion substitute words.  

The more I shoot...the more I learn.
